Growing rapidly since its creation in 2004, Four Star Gardens is Southeast Michigan’s best-kept secret. This one-acre garden showcases a stunning variety of Proven Winners® annuals, perennials, and flowering shrubs each season, offering visitors an inspiring display of color, texture, and performance throughout the growing year.

Information

Four Star Gardens are open seasonally from June 15 to September 30. The public is welcome to walk our gardens, however, we ask that you check availability since the gardens are frequently closed for exclusive and industry events. 

All professional photographers must register with the Event Coordinator to take photos in gardens.

Simple Ways To
Keep the Garden Beautiful

We’re happy to have you here to enjoy the beauty of our garden.  To help keep it looking its best for all visitors, we kindly ask that you be respectful of the garden and those around you during your visit. By following a few simple guidelines, you can help preserve this special place for everyone to enjoy. 

  • Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.   
  • Smoking is not permitted in gardens or buildings. Tobacco products spread viruses to our plants, and we ask for your help in keeping our gardens clean and healthy. 
  • No tents permitted on the grounds. 
  • No drones permitted on the grounds by clients, photographers, or videographers.   
  • Marijuana is not permitted on the grounds. 
  • For safety reasons please ensure that children are always supervised. 
  • Please do not throw anything into the streams or ponds.   
  • No bare feet anywhere on the premise including water features and ponds.  
  • Climbing on rocks, stream beds, garden structures or in ponds is strictly prohibited. 
  • Guests are permitted on the large bridge but must not go any further than the designated signs.  
  • No cutting or picking of flowers; moving or removing of any containers, plants or shrubs is strictly prohibited. 
  • No tossing of silk flowers, confetti, birdseed, rice, or any variety of real flowers other than Rose petals.  
  • No release of Doves or any type of bird; butterflies are acceptable. 
  • No illegal substances, animals (assistance dogs are permitted), weapons, hay bales, fireworks, or sparklers
